Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to restore the ideal number of students that the LIA Banjarmasin Language Institute once had, which experienced a decline due to advances in information technology and the covid-19 pandemic. The method of this activity is in the form of sharing ideas in the form of discussions with the leadership of the LIA Banjarmasin Language Institute and the Academic Operating Officer about the hopes and difficulties being faced. This activity begins with brainstorming to find out the extent of their understanding of marketing concepts and continues with a presentation on how to make exercises or class activities so that students can improve their abilities and be more available to practice using English either at home or at their school. The result of this activity is that it is known that the LIA Banjarmasin Language Institute is trying to get back up again after a long time left by their students due to restrictions during the covid-19 pandemic that hit the whole world. The suggestions given to restore the ideal number of students include practicing in the first 15 minutes at each meeting, utilizing social media by uploading activities to show students' ability to use English, implementing an invite-a-friend program, providing special prices, and holding annual competitions.
