Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to help the community and the local government clearly describe the Dokan Tourism Village, located in the Brand District, Karo Regency, approximately 20 km from Kabanjahe City. describe and provide clear information and knowledge regarding the existence of Dokan Tourism Village and the cultural values of the Dokan Village community. This media can be in the form of a signboard containing information and instructions regarding the location of Dokan Tourism Village. As well as a QR Code containing knowledge about the culture and history of the traditional house of Dokan Village connected directly to the Dokan Village Website. This service method is carried out by outreach and training the community on using the QR Code. The results of this service are expected to help the Dokan Village community to be more literate in the use of technology so that later it can help them increase Dokan Village tourism. In addition, the results of this dedication are also expected to help the community preserve Karo cultural heritage and introduce Karo culture to tourists and even foreign tourists.
