Abstract

With simple production equipment and a conventional marketing system, the manufacture of chips for Product-Based Community Service (PKMBP) partners continues to be developed and used as the household’s main income source. However, the resulting chip products generally do not last long in packaging due to the incomplete oil-draining process, so that the chips will smell rancid within a certain period. To maintain the sustainability of the partner business group, the Service Team was trying to improve the quality and production capacity with more professional business management. The solution for the production aspect was the introduction of a chip product oil spinner. Education, business bookkeeping management training, and a more reliable marketing system were carried out for the management aspect. This service activity aims to increase the income and welfare of the snack business group by introducing an oil spinner as a technology transfer to PKMBP partners.
