The utilization of satellite imagery technology has become an effective alternative for supporting land mapping activities in spatial planning and resource management. This study aims to map the land characteristics at Tgk. Chik Eumpe Awee Integrated Islamic Boarding School, Satong Village, Montasik Subdistrict, Aceh Besar District, using Google Earth. Observations were conducted at five specific locations using a combination of satellite imagery, GPS data, and visual analysis. The mapping results revealed significant variations in land conditions across sites. Locations 1 and 3 have rugged terrain and are not recommended for field activities due to accessibility and safety concerns unless it has been done with cut and fill. Location 2 is dominated by clay soil with a high acidity level (pH 4.0), requiring additional management such as liming. Location 4 consists mainly of rocky soil, making it unsuitable for cultivation activities. In contrast, Location 5, with sandy loam soil, shows potential for agricultural development, though further laboratory analysis is needed to confirm its suitability. This study demonstrates that Google Earth is a practical and efficient tool for preliminary mapping, spatial analysis, and land use planning.
