Edukasi Kreasi Sampah Bernilai Ekonomi di SD IT Hafizul I'lmi Aceh Besar

Abstract

This service activity aims to increase the knowledge and creativity of SD IT Hafizul I'lmi students in Blang Krueng Village, Aceh Besar, in managing inorganic waste into products with economic value. The activity was carried out through interactive lectures and hands-on practice with students and the service team. Educational materials covered waste types, the impact of waste, the 3R concept, and examples of waste utilization. The practice of using used plastic bottles to produce simple products that can be used and have the potential to have selling value. The team evaluated learning through a question-and-answer session at the end of the activity. Most students answered questions well and completed the product creation with the team's guidance. The results showed that combining education and practice strengthened understanding and basic waste-management skills. The next activity is recommended to use pre- and post-activity evaluations so knowledge changes can be measured more systematically.
