Pelatihan Pembuatan Disinfektan pada Kelompok Ibu Rumah Tangga Pengusaha Mikro Binaan Program PPPMK Kota Tanpa Kumuh (Kotaku) Kota Palembang

Abstract

Since the emergence of COVID-19, hand sanitizers and disinfectants have become important things at this time. Disinfectants are able to kill germs or coronaviruses that stick to inanimate objects such as tables, chairs, or other inanimate objects. Therefore, the purpose of community service activities carried out by the service team is to provide an understanding of the importance of maintaining the transmission of covid-19 and provide skills to make disinfectants using materials commonly used in households, such as floor cleaners, clothes bleach and other antiseptics. The model of service activities is empowerment with the method of developing skills through training. The results of the activity showed that participants had understood the material that had been given and participants had been able to make and practice how to make disinfectants from materials that had been practiced with an understanding level of 76 percent, where participants were expected to be able to apply these materials in everyday life without having to buy them outside, so as to save household expenses. Through the questionnaires that have been collected from the training participants, it has produced a list of needs for business development, such as raw materials, capital, marketing, and training on online marketing methods.
