Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Pembuatan Produk UMKM Ramah Lingkungan Berbahan Dasar Limbah Rumah Tangga di RT 12, Kelurahan Kampung Gedang, Kecamatan Banjarmasin Tengah, Kota Banjarmasin

Abstract

This community service was carried out in RT 12 (neighborhood), Kampung Gedang Sub-district, Central Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City. This community service aims to instill an understanding of environmentally friendly MSMEs, especially about plastic waste and other household waste that can be used as raw materials for MSME products that are worth selling. The implementation of environmentally friendly MSMEs is expected to reduce excessive environmental pollution in residents' area, as well as to increase the economic strength of women who do MSM, who are also the members of UP2K in RT 12. The methods used in this community service are counseling and training related to environmentally friendly MSMEs and the use of plastic waste. The result of this community service is the increasing of the participants’ understanding towards the importance of having an environmentally friendly business, as well as how to turn plastic waste into products of with economic value. Participants were able to make some products from plastic waste and sold in MSME showrooms managed by LK3 Banjarmasin.
