Pelaksanaan Monitoring Pemotongan Hewan Qurban Tahun 2021 di Dusun Timur Kopelma Darussalam Banda Aceh

Abstract

This service aims to monitor the health condition of the sacrificial animals in 2021 in the Dusun Timur Gampong Kopelma Darussalam. The method of service implementation is direct field observation which includes checking the age of the animal and the health of the sacrificial animal before slaughter (antemortem) and examination of the health of the sacrificial animal after slaughter (postmortem). The results of the field review of the number of sacrificial animals in the Dusun Timur Gampong Kopelma Darussalam were 15 local bulls and 2 local male goats. The average age of bulls are 3 years and goat are 2 years old. The results of the ante mortem and post mortem inspection showed that the bulls and goats were in good health. It can be concluded that the age and health condition of the sacrificial bulls and goats in the Dusun Timur Gampong Kopelma Darussalam in year 2021 meet the requirements for slaughtering the sacrificial animals.
