Pemanfaatan Gulma Enceng Gondok di Reulet Timu Kecamatan Muara Batu Kabupaten Aceh Utara

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to empower the female workforce by utilizing water hyacinth weeds to increase family income, to foster a culture of entrepreneurship, independence and to develop weed-based SMEs in the village of Reulet Timu, Muara Batu, North Aceh regency. The method of implementing the service is carried out with 3 main steps, namely the awareness stage, the training stage, and the supervision stage from the service team to partner skills. The results of this service are that of the 25 partners who participated in the training 90% of partners have understood the material presented and have shown a positive impact in the form of changing mindsets and the emergence of awareness that everything in nature, if used, will have use values, including water hyacinth weeds. At the capacity stage, 85% of partners master the material for weaving water hyacinth. Meanwhile, at the awareness stage, the influence felt by partners is also very good and positive, as survey. Suggestions for the next service activity are that participants are invited by several tutors so that they understand the material better.
