Abstract

One of the essential factors in development is the excellent quality of human resources. This can be achieved by providing optimal education. Education is not only limited and confined to the pattern of education in schools. Educating is an activity that can provide motivation and provision of learning resources. One of the learning resources that is widely known in the community is a reading garden. Therefore, this reading garden is another source of education and knowledge. The problem faced by children in Dokan Village today is that there is no reading garden available, so they only get an education to the extent that traditional schools provide. The establishment of a reading garden in this village is expected to arouse the love of reading, the spirit of learning, open insights, and curiosity about new things through books.
