Covid-19, new normal, qurban, Idul Adha, Darussalam Banda Aceh


Human life around the world and especially in Banda Aceh has undergone changes in behavior deformation caused by the presence of the covid-19 virus which forced the residents of the Sektor Timur (Sektim) to carry out the Covid19 protocol, namely with the term Social Distancing, Using Masks, Washing Hands (Social Distancing). 3M). During the COVID-19 period, many terms have been used by the Indonesian government to limit the movement of people, such as social distancing, isolation and quarantine, Lock Down, Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM), PPKM Levels 1-4, etc. In this new condition Humans live everywhere entering a room which is then called the New-Normal. This article wants to explain how the conditions for implementing the New Normal were when Mak Meugang was in the Kopelma Darussalam area. Mak Meugang is a condition where the people in Aceh carry out the ritual of slaughtering sacrificial animals in the month of Zulhijah or 70 days after Eid al-Fitr in worshiping Allah SWT which is commonly called Eid al-Adha 1442 H. The data on the number of sacrificial cows is 17 tail with tens of experts involved in it. When a cow to be slaughtered, it takes some very interesting skills to observe, such as: cattle taming techniques, tying techniques, cattle dropping techniques, health clinical trials, cutting techniques, skinning techniques, techniques for dividing cow body pieces based on the number of piles, meat cutting techniques according to weight, visual weighing technique, packaging technique and distribution technique to those who are entitled to receive it. The Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) community service team (Tim Pengabdi) from various disciplines are here to practice their respective skills.
