Abstract

The development of information and communication technology brings a significant influence in various fields of life, including the world of education. Advances in technology can be used to transform education in a more advanced direction. We can find and get information quickly and hone creativity through technology, such as by making digital posters, technology-based learning media, learning videos, and so on. In the current digital era, teachers are required to master technology in order to keep up with the times. Moreover, students are now familiar with technology, and it cannot be denied that their abilities are more proficient than their teachers’ as they are called digital natives. Digital native is a term for Generation Z, who are familiar with the technology. Therefore, teachers need to improve their skills through technological adaptation. One of them is by participating in technology-based training. There are various platforms that can be used in the world of Education. One type of platform that provides graphic design is Canva. Canva is a graphic design platform packed with quite easy and straightforward usage; it is supported by the availability of many templates and attractive features ready to use. This makes it easier for users to operate and is suitable for beginners who are not proficient in using the Canva graphic design application. Therefore, this training aims to increase teachers’ creativity during the Limited PTM period in using and utilizing Canva for school needs, such as PPDB pamphlets, educational posters, and PowerPoint learning media with various exciting themes. This training was held at SDN 3 Nagritengah by students of the Indonesian Education University Study Program PGSD Kamda Purwakarta.
