Pelatihan Manajemen Laboratorium Jurusan Pendidikan Kimia FKIP USK Bagi Guru MAN Takengon

Abstract

Laboratory Management Training for the USK FKIP Chemistry Education Department for MAN Takengon Teachers was held on September 16-17, 2022, aiming to train science teachers in carrying out their duties, especially as laboratory managers, including planning and implementing, and supervising learning activities. School science laboratories function as facilities that must exist according to standard facilities and infrastructure in public schools and madrasahs. This is regulated in the National Education Standards and regulations from the Minister of Education. Implementation starts with preparing activity materials, tools, and materials needed to implement activities. The next stage is an offline training workshop at MAN Central Aceh. The training material is about good laboratory management, PPE and clothing in the laboratory, and first aid. And the arrangement of chemicals is then carried out by discussion and question and answer with the training participants. Laboratory management training activities are very much needed for MAN Takengon teachers. They hope follow-up training activities will be carried out by the USK FKIP Chemistry department at school and in the USK FKIP Chemistry laboratory.
