Organic waste, particularly leaf litter, is a common type of waste found in rural areas and is often not utilized optimally. In Kopelma Darussalam Village, Syiah Kuala District, leaf litter has become a significant issue in waste management. This community service program aims to provide a solution by utilizing leaf waste to produce compost that can benefit agriculture and environmental cleanliness. The activities began with socialization on the importance of organic waste management and composting techniques. Additionally, training sessions were conducted to teach the community how to process leaf waste into environmentally friendly compost. The results of this program show that the community is enthusiastic about adopting composting methods and has gained a better understanding of sustainable waste management. Furthermore, the success of this program is expected to improve soil quality and agricultural productivity in the village, while also reducing the volume of unmanaged waste. Thus, this community service contributes positively to Kopelma Darussalam Village's environment and economy.
