Peremajaan Sanitasi Tanaman Hias di Perkarangan Meunasah Desa Lamgapang

Abstract

This community service program aims to raise awareness and encourage community participation in maintaining cleanliness and improving environmental quality through sanitation renewal and greening activities, utilizing ornamental plants, in Gampong Lamgapang, Krueng Barona Jaya Subdistrict, Aceh Besar Regency. The implementation methods include an educational approach through awareness campaigns on the importance of environmental cleanliness, as well as a participatory approach that involves residents in cleanup activities and the rearrangement of ornamental plants in open spaces. The activities' results demonstrate an increase in community awareness of environmental care, reflected in residents' enthusiasm and active participation throughout the series. The surrounding environment became cleaner, more organized, and more pleasant, fostering a sense of ownership toward public spaces. The success of this activity demonstrates that a collaborative approach can motivate the community to care for its environment.
