Child protection is a fundamental human right that various stakeholders, including the state, families, and communities, must ensure. Desa Setia Budi, located in Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan Province, was selected for this community service activity due to its high rates of early marriage, low legal awareness, and significant prevalence of stunting. This legal education program aimed to enhance community understanding of child protection, particularly regarding the impacts of early marriage, divorce, and stunting. The method employed was service learning, integrating academic learning with its direct application in the community and a technical approach to legal education. The program involved interactive group discussions with the participation of community leaders, village officials, and a legal education team. The materials were delivered using technology and visual media, such as computer-based presentations and educational videos, to facilitate participant comprehension. The results demonstrated increased community awareness of the negative impacts of early marriage, including health and social risks, and a commitment to delay marriage until an appropriate age. The legal education on divorce provided insights into conflict resolution and its effects on children. Furthermore, the stunting education component helped participants understand the importance of adequate nutrition to prevent the condition. In conclusion, this program effectively enhanced the awareness and knowledge of the Desa Setia Budi community regarding child protection. The holistic approach of integrating law and health fostered behavioral changes supporting child welfare. This initiative is expected to be a model for similar programs in other regions to support a better future generation.
